We were all standing on the Newport Beach pier looking around and I saw it...
The shadow of us in the waves below.
I asked everyone to gather together as I pointed down to it. Taking photos with my phone, in the bright afternoon sun, meant that I wouldn't really know until later if I was able to capture the image.
And I got it...the seven of us together.
We had a week full of Disneyland, board games, naps, a concert in the park and the beach, beach and more beach. It couldn't have been better.
