To celebrate his birthday, Mac wanted to head to Los Angeles for the day. We got to have brunch at a restaurant he really wanted to try, we stopped by the Urban Light sculpture that he has always wanted to see and he got to go shopping at one of his very favorite stores.
Sean and I decided last weekend that we would stay the night by the convention center so we could go see some of the World Game events. We got see the bocce competition, handball, roller skating, badminton, table tennis, and power lifting. It was amazing...the entire atmosphere was one of the most meaningful experiences I have ever been lucky enough to have.
The last time we went on vacation it was for 27 hours and that was fifteen months ago. This trip was about the same amount of time...but it's amazing how fun it can be to wander around a bit, eat all the free hors d'oeuvres the hotel is offering and take some time to relax.
