Three years ago I shared about my purse organization. I usually carry a pretty large purse in case I need to toss extra stuff in, however this summer I got a small cross-body bag for just the essentials. Granted my definition of "essential" clearly comes from a deep internalization of the "be prepared" lesson from my time as a Girl Scout.
It probably should be noted that my "time" as a Girl Scout was a single school year...third grade...Troop 227...but apparently it made an impact.
So if you need a measuring tape or something to floss your teeth, please know I'll be prepared to help.
