This weekend, we were driving right by my favorite art store and were going to stop for a set of paints I really wanted for the past couple months. In addition to being such a renowned watercolor artist, I figured I should take on acrylics too.
As the car was almost in the driveway of the store, I suddenly decided we should just head home instead. I felt like there was not really a point to buy another crafty supply when I have barely been using the paper, stamps, paints, and yarn I already own. Heck, my blog name seems to becoming less and less applicable. However, "Just Grade Sociology Papers" doesn't quite sound as cute.
Speaking of grading, I ended up spending Saturday afternoon at my desk doing work for school. However, after the realization this morning that I barely let myself make anything, I decided that I could spare a few minutes and work on something, anything, crafty.
I loved putting together the little December Daily-ish album, so I had purchased another one for little bits of 2015, in addition to the Project Life book I am working on. I had some photos in it, but nothing else.
So I turned on a podcast and spent 45 minutes...five little spreads of pages (and a little title page) later I was much happier.
Mark my words, in small increments of time, I am going to start living up to this blog name again.
Because, seriously, no one wants to read about all those Sociology papers.
