Without fail when using our kitchen aid mixer to make frosting I create a cloud of powdered sugar. This was tonight as we prepped for Mac's cheer squad's last team dinner of football season...
We are having penne with braised short ribs, salad, and garlic bread. Dessert will be called "Golden Velvet" cupcakes...basically we just took this recipe from Picky Palate and didn't dye it green. The school colors are cardinal and gold so I thought calling them golden might make them more fun. Speaking of fun, keep an eye on Instagram tomorrow because at some point there will be school colored cupcake toppers shared...I just have to make them first. I can no longer have them plain ever since my sister my taught me a life-changing way to decorate cupcakes.
