The end of summer countdown is rapidly progressing, so we are trying to stuff everything into the last few days.
Late Friday night and Saturday morning were spent de-cluttering and scrubbing down Mac's room. Last week (in phase one) Sean put a new coat of paint on the walls. Hopefully by next weekend the third and final phase of rearranging will be complete. I have a couple of ideas I can't wait to surprise Mac with.
Saturday night included a house full of teenagers...or at least five of them helped make the house feel very full. There were plenty of requested Bacon Wrapped Hot dogs, three rounds of s'more making, and covering the backyard patio with sidewalk chalk drawings.
I guess there has to be a last weekend of summer vacation eventually. This one may have come too fast, but it at least it was as good as it gets.
