Sean's district had to give the teacher's a furlough day towards the end of the school year to help with budget cuts. We dropped the graduation party invites at the post office, went to lunch and spent a little time on the beach, then I made a scrapbook layout when I should have been grading papers or researching for my last lecture next week. It is far from the ideal way to have a day off, but we were still grateful for a little time together.
