I think I scared Sean back in December as I stood in the massive Whole Foods armed with a Groupon and looking for essential oils. The yoga instructor we took classes from late this past summer (again thanks to Groupon) would use lavender oil during savasana at end of class...it was such a relaxing scent that I decided I needed to find some. I eventually decided to go with aromatherapy sprays instead. I spray them on my pillow before going to bed, around the treadmill before I exercise, or even try a few minutes of savasana myself occasionally.
My other discovery was essential oil balms. The headache one is pretty helpful with migraines and I keep the focus one in my desk drawer...
So I might have frightened Sean with my inner hippie-ness (when I got to the incense he really started teasing me), but hopefully I haven't scared you guys by sharing my newly discovered love of aromatherapy. I have an extra stress soother balm to share with anyone who might want to try it out. Leave a "pick me" and I'll do a drawing sometime on Saturday afternoon.
