Much like the pinata, Mac decided he wanted to attempt a "Starburst Bracelet" and quickly recruited assistance. This time from his dad and grandma...and his cousins who willingly took all the unwrapped candy since Mac couldn't have any chewy stuff with a new mouthful of braces.
I was amazed to see it all finished when he got back to our house the next day and I couldn't help but tease Mac's dad with text message's about his remarkable bracelet assembly skills. He told me he was considering it as a second job.
The bracelet survived a few weeks, but as we took these photos it was getting pretty worn and close to meeting the recycle bin. It was pretty sweet while it lasted though...pun intended. :)
