At 3:24pm yesterday I was at my desk working on a future blog post. I had just gotten off the phone with my sister and was eating the tiniest scoops of Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Toffee Chip Graters ice cream. I promise they were small...and so amazingly delicious.
Sean was in bed. He announced that he was taking a half hour nap before getting back out to finish some yard work he had started that morning. In his defense he had just finished reading the new California Superintendent's "A Blueprint for Great Schools Report" which would probably put most people to sleep.
Mac was down the hall with his latest favorite music playing. He was tracing an image for a cousin who apparently really likes Elmo. Love that he comes to me pretty regularly for feedback on what he's working on. Other than opinions though, I'm no help since he's way better at drawing and tracing then I could ever be.
And that's just a minute of a summer afternoon around here.
