1. One Easter detail I didn't mention is that the leftovers are the best. A ham salad lunch with a little scoop of chocolate mousse for dessert totally made my day yesterday.
2. My sister made the ham salad and my brother made the chocolate mousse. I'm a pretty lucky sibling.
3. As the avid blog readers that they claim to be it was funny that both my brother and sister thought it was weird that I said I was going to take a break from the blog a couple of weeks ago, yet I still posted everyday. They now know that I can schedule posts ahead of time.
4. Neither of them really appreciated my teasing about needing to improve their reading comprehension skills since I mentioned that I had posts planned when I signed off.
5. Speaking of reading comprehension, I only have three more books to read this semester...then maybe I can use my Kindle for fun reading. I can't wait to read without having to remain vigilant about highlighting every important point.
6. Yesterday Mac wore a shirt he got for Easter...but it was Easter 2009. The shirt has been hanging in closet waiting for him to grow into it...
7. Mac's mom is really, really funny in case you were wondering.
8. In 1981 (when I was five years old) my mom let me watch the royal wedding live with her...this Friday it's awfully tempting to try to stay up, but instead I'll take advantage of our technological gains in the last 30 years and DVR it.
9. And while I watch it I will drink tea out of this mug...
10. Too bad I don't still have my Princess Diana paper dolls. (Is this a good time to mention that I was obsessed with the royal family when I was little?)
