or I need better time management on Friday and Saturday because it seems every single Sunday night I am freaking out that I didn't get everything done that I wanted to do.
Here's a little of what did get done this weekend...
I got a shiny new car battery when mine crapped out on Sean as he stopped at the grocery store last night (I also managed to take the most unflattering photo of the poor guy...I think I caught him while he was asking me why the heck I was taking a photo)...we tried to jump start it with our Corolla but it took a AAA tow truck to get it started. The new battery brings the two week total of Griffin family hassles to 5...broken dishwasher, cable internet not working, broken toilet, home phone line not working and now the car...in two weeks...I am way too ready for this kind of bad luck to be over.
I made Mac happy by suggesting we make these (that's why Sean was at the grocery store last night)...Mac called me downstairs to take a photo of him since he made it for the first time...yet if I ever want to take a photo of him I get rolled-eyes and general annoyance.
We stocked the house full of necessities after a big trip to Costco and the grocery store (Sean always brings coolers with ice packs if we're making more than one stop...does any one else do that?)
I crafted up some long overdue invitations for our annual Halloween pizza party with our neighbors. I also worked on little cards to send along with some Halloween treats to my two-year-old niece in Iowa and my sister (who's three now) in Oklahoma...it occurred to me last week that they're old enough that it'd be fun to send them a little package for each holiday since we rarely get to see them. I made a new blog banner too since I had all my Halloween stamps out. Then I turned to Christmas...I needed to make invites for the meeting our street usually has to figure out the details of our progressive dinner...I went into my invitation computer file to double-check an old invitation and realized we usually have the meeting in late September so we're running super late this year when we have the meeting on November 1st...at least it's our fifth year doing it so we pretty much all know what's going on.
Okay off to bed...thankfully I have tomorrow to finish up what I didn't get done but it will also include going to school to work on assignments I missed from Thursday's classes so it's going to be a busy day...
