I'm seriously going to have to do some this week...the next few days are filled with various assignments and readings to get done before I can further indulge in the weekend procrastination habits I have become so very good at.
This past weekend's procrastination habits included a couple of projects I've wanted to do...a new valance for the family room and cleaning out and rearranging the bookcases. I don't have a specific "before" shot of the room although there are some in this post...here's the "after"...
It's not a major change but the bookcases are much less cluttered and everything is very carefully placed (a.k.a. I stared at them ALL afternoon to figure it out).
While I was entranced by shelf contents Sean made the valance...armed with scissors, a ruler, an iron and fusing tape he transformed 1 1/3 yards of home decorator fabric into an over 15 foot long valance...just another reason why I am damn lucky he's mine.
I have to go get dinner out of the oven but before I go here's the finished layout from last night...slowly but surely making my way through the road trip photos...
Okay dinner then schoolwork...lots of schoolwork...
