and listening to the creek at night while falling asleep...and beautiful cool weather with intermittent sun and rain...and really good (but oh so bad for you) food...and shopping with no sales tax (even though it gets you in trouble when you & your sister-in-law stay till the mall closes and are an hour late to dinner)...and the winding roads that I got to drive on by myself for the first time (which are much more fun than a California freeway)...and having light in the sky till 9pm...and family...that is by far the hardest goodbye of all.
We're on our way to the airport so we'll be saying hello to home...and unpacking and laundry and Mac's musical rehearsal and studying for the statistics test I have tomorrow...in about five hours...
