is almost over and it was a good one...here's what made me happy today...
--this layout still sitting on me desk after I made it a couple of days ago...not sure if I like 2 sets of wings stamped at the top...I probably should have just done one, but oh well...
--making dinner (kind of improvised with the ingredients and actually used low-fat everything and it still tasted really good which was pleasant surprise)
--going for a walk together
--catching up a little on Dancing with the Stars (although we haven't watched the results show yet)
--having fresh baked chocolate chip cookies warm from the oven which I had no business eating
--this flag flying on our house...
Right after Easter I went to put up a generic spring flag and decided I wanted something new since we've had the same flag April through the middle of June every year and it's totally tattered...there used to be the cutest flag store in downtown Orange that I built our flag collection at over the years but it closed awhile ago...so I went looking around the internet and found this site...where I found my tree flag that of course I had to have...I also found another cute summer flag for around the 4th of July...and one for August since I've never had a good flag in August and finally I had to have this one to fly at the beginning of November
--afterschool I took some time to clean out my closet a little since it was getting too crowded to move the hangers back and forth...which also means I got the huge laundry pile at then end of our bed put away
--I got this kit in the mail...I've never ordered one before, but this one seemed too clever to pass up...can't wait to hide some journaling on layouts with all these pieces
--I made a CD as a little birthday gift for a friend who just got her first I-pod...
and wrapped it since we're having lunch tomorrow...
And now I'm off to bed :)
