Here's the three of us last night at our traditional New Years get-together with three of Sean's fraternity brothers and their families.
For some reason I'm endlessly entertained by this whole New Year concept...Sean pointed it out to me yesterday as I got off the phone with my sister saying, "talk to you next year"...I just love that one day it's one year and the next day it's all new. I love that today you can make sweeping comments like...
I've barely slept all year.
The combination of a 2am bedtime, a twin air mattress in our friend's living room, not enough blankets to stay warm, Santa Ana winds blowing, and three toddlers up at 7am made for a rather sleepless night...hopefully I'll catch up tonight.
I also love that I have a blog...it's because of this blog that I take a lot of random photos of details...I realized how many yesterday when I went through my computer files to dig up some photos to use for a new banner idea...I have all these little bits of my life saved that otherwise would have totally passed by unnoticed.
Well that's enough random thoughts for a New Years morning...off to get ready for lunch with some friends...
