So I set a goal for today...to not get out of my pajamas...this whole vacation thing is great and all but I've needed to be dressed and out of the house every day this week...it's not really a vacation unless I don't have a bra on. :) Granted 99% of the time that I'm home it seems I'm in pajamas...like if I get home at one in the afternoon I'm in pajamas by 1:10pm...but I haven't had a whole day in pajamas in awhile. Except I'm doing the math on what needs to be done today and it's looking like it's going to require getting dressed. We haven't decorated Griffin's grave yet and since Christmas is in like ten minutes we should get our candy canes and garland up.
The other reason it's going to feel more like vacation today is because it's Sean's last day at work...cannot wait to hear the garage door open this afternoon and know he's home for two weeks...Sean + no bra=vacation...okay I'll stop with the bra discussion...sorry...it seems my smart-ass sense of humor is in full-force this morning.

First a layout from the other night with a photo my sister gave me from Oklahoma...
I need to get back into the scrapping groove since I have a TON to catch up on and would be thrilled if a bunch of it was done before I start school...we'll see...
Then a little project I've wanted to do for awhile...I have my typewriter and sewing machine right behind my desk and the wall behind it needed something...I was going to just stick patterned paper squares right to the wall, but Sean suggested I back it on cardboard and then tack it up with nails...so he constructed it for me while I tried to keep the dogs from walking on the patterned paper all set up on the floor...
It turned out like this...not terribly creative, just a little something happy & colorful...
And finally I'm not the only crafty one around here today...Mac is stamping his Christmas thank you notes...
Oh I almost forgot to share his mom's thank you notes...I'm officially obsessed with those two tree stamps from Paper Source...
