My mom, Sean, and I went to Mac's school this afternoon for his tumbling show...otherwise known as Nora-trying-to-stifle-laughter 2007.
My mom also brought along a finished school project she had been helping Mac with. His class was supposed to knit or crochet scarves to donate to a local homeless shelter and Mac was struggling with learning how to do it. So my mom went into her usual amazing Grandma mode and helped by making sure he had big, cozy yarn and a huge hook so the scarf would work up quickly and then she taught herself to crochet with her left hand like Mac would that way she could help show him how. In the end "they" made a scarf that I believe is about six feet long...
He was so proud to turn it in...thanks Mom. :)
