Seriously...it flew by...thankfully in a haze of productiveness (is productiveness a word? Either way I guess it is in my life). I have about a half and hour before we head to Mac's school's end of the year picnic so I'll share a couple of Mac-related highlights from the week...
After hitting the Norstroms Half Yearly sale with my sister on Wednesday and buying Mac three different blue-hued Hurley t-shirts that had various tree graphics because I'm obsessed with trees and couldn't resist...I decided to really clean out his room...thankfully he's at Bryce's on Wednesday because if he'd been here I would have probably strangled him with his purple Easter outfit that I found stuffed in a drawer along with a multitude of other clothing storage fiascoes.
Then Thursday we had his parent teacher conference and took him out early to go get his hair cut and go to lunch...for the last couple of weeks we've been mentioning he needs his hair cut and he wouldn't want to so we'd reassure him that he could keep it longer we were just going to have it cleaned up...well apparently he was inspired by his cool mom (yeah right) getting her hair cut off because sat down in the chair at Dick the Barber's (yes, that's what we call him ever since he gave my brother his first haircut 23+ years ago) and proclaimed he wanted short spikes...totally out of the blue...after we made sure he understood that meant cutting off all his hair short spikes it was... 
Okay I'm off to the picnic...
