So the tide pools weren't so much fun... it was beautiful down there...but carefully stepping on each rock and trying desperately to keep my balance got old fast...and we went at least a couple hundred yards out into these things and then back. I also could have cared less about seeing a hermit crab or a sea hare slug...I would have MUCH rather sat on the beach with a stack of magazines...but oh well it's done...after I do my whole lab write-up then it's really done.
I fought traffic almost the whole way home and by the time I got here I was all kinds of grumpy...until I saw this

Which I said earlier in the month was totally on my wish list...I guess he found out the other day he was going to get paid for coaching on his April paycheck and was planning to surprise me with the purse...it honestly blows my mind and will now be ten times as cool to have it since he was so thoughtful...I told him he gets lots of good husband points for this one. :)
