As I was getting my camera out of the drawer to take with us to Disneyland on Tuesday afternoon I saw this out the window...the blinds got in the way, but I kind of liked it that way.
I can't wait to reclaim our driveway and garage next week instead of it being work trucks and supplies. I sort of lost my mind and hired the guy to do stacked stone on our porch posts and pour a new concrete walkway and patio...he showed up when he said he would, had a good price, had done work at a neighbor's house that she was pleased with, and he could start first thing Wednesday morning...so he was hired. Yesterday was jackhammers for hours, today is saws cutting stones, and then lots of banging in general...the neighbors must be thrilled with us. :) Tomorrow's concrete...love that it's happening fast, because having things out of order drives me nuts (you could never tell that about me though, right?). After photos next week...can't wait!
Sean had a minimum day at work since it's Back to School Night so he's on his way home with a late lunch/early dinner of pizza and TIVO catch-up before he picks Mac up from school. He should be back home tonight just in time to watch Grey's Anatomy with me...but I told him if he wasn't home when it started that I probably couldn't handle waiting for him...I'm such a good wife. :)
