I think this happens every year...September comes, the weather cools down, and I think to myself, "Wow...it's fall...fall just might happen on schedule..."
Like yesterday and today...BEAUTIFUL...cloudy and cool...like lower 70's cool...so yesterday morning I couldn't help myself...I HAD to set out some fall decorations...fake pumpkins and a messy hay-bail...little mums waiting to bloom in their galvanized buckets...it makes me ridiculously happy...as does this weather.
Then there's the damn news...those weathermen are talking all about it...Santa Ana Winds, high pressure, and crap like that.
So, it seems as if my fall decorations will be brief, since I'll have to tuck them in the garage once the wind starts, unless I want my pumpkins rolling through the neighborhood.
Oh...looking at the photo reminds me that I haven't shared our slightly exciting house news...vinyl siding...Sean and I discussed it for years and we took the plunge last week signing a contract to have the house done...first we're having an electrician come and wire outdoor outlets and little spot-lights on our porch...come Halloween (when, most likely, the weather still won't be fall-like yet) my porch is going to be THE place to be. :)
