I have been called by the adoption agency just over an hour ago. Roxana has placed Darby in foster care for a week while she thinks it over. Three families in this poor baby's first 11 days of life. Now, not even her birth mom has her. I don't even know how to process that at this point.
I still have little to no hope that we will get our daughter back. I honestly don't feel Roxana has the support system in place to get through this week and when she misses her daughter she will wait till next Tuesday to get her back.
A week seems like a life sentence to me...hell, this all happened just five days ago and it's already been an eternity and a half on our hearts.
I'm calling you to pray again. This baby, our daughter, Roxana's daughter needs your prayers. As does Roxana since she has such a tortuous week ahead too. Thank you.
