So the book is getting there...this will be the last page, random conglomeration as always...I have about eight more to do and I'm foolishly hopeful that I'll get them all done this weekend...but you never know, I was able to get seven done yesterday...so there's a little hope. :)
Tonight we decided on a whim to see if Foothill (the high school I used to work at) had a home game tonight and it turned out there was. Mac was thrilled to go...he's been dying to check out some cheerleaders and has been asking for weeks to go to a game every time we drive home from his grade school and we pass the field with all the football players out there practicing.
I have to say I love the football games too...bundling up in a sweater when it gets cool, watching the moon come up over the hills, but my favorite thing is the people watching...teenagers traveling in packs to and fro...makes me miss working with them...then I overheard one of the security guards having to argue with a girl who was on a cell phone that wasn't allowed and that cured my longing for being back working with teenagers. :) Notice I haven't mentioned actually watching the football...I'm the girl always asking Sean, "What happened, what I miss???". Still it's just a fun way for us to spend a Friday night together especially with Mac next to me screaming out the cheers...
