I walked up these steps for the last time on my way into work...
I was called up to the front office during third period to get this huge arrangement of flowers Sean sent to me. He asked the florist to use my favorite flower, gerbera daisies and to make it colorful. Little did he know it'd be over two feet tall! :) I still can't get over how caring and thoughtful he's been about all of this.
I hung out with these kids for the last time today and we said our goodbyes as they walked out the door to lunch.
I cried on the way to work and had tears in my eyes every time I hugged someone. However, as I walked back down those stairs to leave I was okay...my heart wasn't nearly as heavy. I knew I was doing the right thing and was so grateful for the fact I felt okay.
