So...I've been sharing a little bit about some of the bead shopping I've been doing, so I figured I'd better share that I'm actually using them...especially since I bought a whole bunch more this afternoon. :)
Tonight I made a turquoise and green necklace, an orange & pink necklace and a little multi colored bracelet...and might I say it was sooooo very much fun. (sorry the picture is pretty horrible though)
Attempting these little bead creations made for the end of a great night tonight. I actually cooked dinner... just threw together some hamburgers to barbecue and had tater-tots, but it was better than sending Sean for take-out...again.
After dinner Sean, Mac, and I went for a walk. It was perfect walking weather, there was such a great cool breeze blowing. Tonight was a rite of passage...usually Mac is pushed in the jogging stroller, all cuddled in PJ's and a blanket, but tonight he rode his bike all the way on our little trek through our neighborhood...it was so cool to see him ride ahead of us.
When we got back to the house I sat out on the porch with the laptop while Sean and Mac played "tennis-baseball" in addition to some basketball game they've also devised. Then Mac had me help swing the jump-rope to see if Sean could jump and dribble a basketball at the same time...he couldn't. :)
I am so grateful for this past weekend...it's been filled with family & friends...beads & scrapbook supplies...good food & good times.
