I have curly ribbon scissors. Or is it curling ribbon? Either way, I have scissors from way back in the Hello Kitty/Sanrio era that I have used to curl ribbon on gifts for probably 30 years now. They are one of those random items that end up being a total treasure.
Curling ribbon was one of the very first crafting tricks I learned and, to this day, I still love a gift piled with it.
This was for our neighbor's son's first birthday. I got him, and his older brother, some bubble-blowing supplies. Even though it's not exactly for a one-year old, I figured it's fun to watch bubbles float through the air at any age.
The bubble bucket was a wonky shape, so I used a paper bag, changed-up the card design I recently made for Sean, and grabbed every blue curly/curling ribbon I had.
